EvacPlan Generator offers five You Are Here marker styles: Arrow, Map Pin, Crosshair, Star Burst, and Target Circle. Each style renders the icon with a YOU ARE HERE text label below it. The marker appears in the Map Key legend alongside your other icons.

The quality of the rendered floorplan depends on the quality of the original PDF. If your PDF is a scanned image at low resolution, it may appear blurry. For best results, use a vector-based PDF exported from CAD software. You can also try the PDF Simplify filters to remove visual noise and improve clarity.

The exported PDF is generated from the same data as the editor view, but rendering differences can occur with complex architectural PDFs. Ensure your Simplify and Layer settings are configured as desired before exporting. The Map Key position, header customization, and all annotations will appear as positioned in the editor.
